Analytics for Bloggers - Aaron Landry
Aaron’s session will show you how to use Google Analytics, Facebook, bit.ly and other services to understand your blog’s readership. It will teach you how to analyze your blog to determine what’s bringing in your traffic, how to widen your audience with the information your readers are already providing you and ways to convert your readers into regulars.
By the end of this session you’ll have some tactics on improving your bounce rate, you’ll know how to determine the effectiveness of your tweets and you’ll have a resource on busting creative blocks when thinking of posts to write.

Molly’s session will feature an overview of what you should consider if you are thinking about hosting blog giveaways without giving away your integrity. She’ll layout the pros and cons, ways you can structure your giveaways, the importance of disclosures and above all, what it all means to you and your blog’s brand.
How to get Published: Get a Book Deal out of Your Blog - Bonnie Harris
In Bonnie’s presentation, she’ll discuss how to gain the attention of the publishing world by positioning yourself with traditional and new media. She will also review how to plan blog posts keeping your future book in mind and how to think like a publicist when writing. There will also be a frank discussion of the role of the literary agent and whether you should consider self-publishing instead of using a traditional publishing house.
